Sarah Cristina Herrera, CPA

Sarah Cristina Herrera is a Certified Public Accountant with nearly two decades of experience in small business accounting, beginning her career in 2005 and earning her CPA license in 2017. She specializes in nonprofit and small business accounting, bringing deep technical expertise together with real-world operational insight.

Sarah actively serves her profession and community. She sits on the Qualifications Committee of the California Board of Accountancy, is a member of CalCPA, the AICPA, and the CFA Society of San Francisco, and holds leadership roles as PTO Treasurer and Boosters Treasurer at Technology High School. Her board service reflects her strong commitment to governance, compliance, and financial stewardship.

As a small business owner herself and a longtime Sonoma County resident, Sarah understands firsthand the financial challenges and opportunities facing local organizations. In 2016, she founded Seedlings Garden Group, a nonprofit providing free gardening programs to children in public schools — an initiative she continues to support through board service and community involvement.

Recognizing the growing need in Sonoma County for high-quality accounting, tax, and fractional CFO services, Sarah launched her own firm to serve individuals, nonprofits, and local businesses. Her mission is simple: to provide clear financial guidance, strategic insight, and dependable expertise that empowers clients to thrive in their business endeavors.
